DRIVER

• Driving license valid in the European Union.
• Only accept original driving license.
• Minimum age for the BASIC group , 24 years old and 3 years of a full driving licence.
• Minimum age for the A-B group , 25 years old and 4 years of a full driving licence.
• Minimum age for the C group , 26 years old and 4 years of a full driving licence.
• For drivers of 21 to 25 years old, According to car group there will be an extra cost. called  "young driver"
• maximum age to rent, 70 year s old

MOTORBIKES

• Unlimited mileage
• 2 Helmets included
• 24h for breakdown assistance and  scooter replacement
• Insurance with excess included
• Compulsory civil unlimited liability insurance and local taxes
• Passport or ID needed
• Motrcylce license A1 or 36 month old car license needed
• Minimum age: 21 years old
• Full insurance option without excess: excces 0€ ! Does not include keys, weehls and punctures, helmet beakage or any of the accesories ( trunk, padlock, etc )    
• DEPOSIT: 50€

PETROL

The vehicle will be delivered with a certain amount of fuel and the day of the return must be returned with the same amount, 

CAR INSURANCE

• Our vehicles have insurance policy which is binding to the third party which covers personal injuries of all persons in the vehicle and also third partys also inc materials demuring, exempt an own vehicle
• However through the rental contract, our company exempts the costumer, depends on age, and also how many years of driving license, of any economic responsibility, for damages to the car, all this with NO EXCESS.
• In case that the driver does not enter in the age and years of driving license, we reserve the right to take the credit card of garantee for the vehicle these drivers are coverd whith insurance with excess  Group BASIC - 380€ / Grup A - 425€ / Group B - 455€/ Group C - 495€

Not included in the insurance:

• Putting the wrong fuel in the vehical.
• Damage caused by negligence, bruscdriving, effects of drinking alcohol, drugs, etc
• Damages to tapicera and inside of vehicle, burns, etc. produced by smoking in the vehicles
• Lost or broken keys and remote controls, the cos tranges between 290€ to 450€
• Broken Baby seats, or lost, etc.
• Touching the engine or adding fluids to the vehicle
• Underneth of  the vehicle 
• Towing service (Only when the client incurs negligence not covered by insurance.)
• Theft of the vehicle with keys left inside or not having the keys in your possession.
•  Tyres and rims.

DEPOSIT

The deposit that we request from our customers when renting a vehicle serves various purposes related to the fulfillment of the rental agreement.

Firstly, the deposit ensures that the vehicle is returned on time and at the agreed location. By requesting this amount, we ensure that our customers fulfill their commitments and return the vehicle as agreed, avoiding any delays or inconveniences for other customers.

Additionally, the deposit is linked to the agreed fuel level. When renting a vehicle, a specific amount of fuel is determined that should be in the tank upon return. The deposit allows us to ensure that the vehicle is returned with the same amount of fuel agreed upon, avoiding any issues or disputes later on.

It is important to note that the deposit will be fully refunded to our customers, provided that all the conditions specified in the rental agreement are met. This includes returning the car on time and at the agreed location, with the correct amount of fuel.

• We have baby seats, boosters, maxi coseys.
• In case of weel puncture , the user is responsible of change the wheel and bring the car to our offices, so it can be fixed for free or replaced for another vehicle.
• Infractions from the traffic police etc or parking will be charged by taking the vehical. (Extra payment to send traffics finies, 35€ per finie).
• We will not give a refund if you return the vehical before the time anticipated.
• The company has the right to take the car in case of accidents, careless driving, etc.
• If you need a recipt for the name of company the details need to be given before signing the contract.
• The rental is only for Menorca the vehical can not go out of Menorca
• It is forbidden to transport pets in the vehicle.

GEOLOCALIZATION 

Autos Ciutadella S.L. reserves the right to have their fleet geolocalized.

PERIOD OF RENTAL:

- The minimum rental period is 1 day, and the maximum will be specified in the contract.

- If the tenant does not comply with the agreed rental period, the landlord will have the right to charge the rental amount from the end of the contract until the return of the vehicle, plus a penalty for the economic damages caused.

- In case of abandoning the vehicle, a vehicle recovery fee will be applied, and all expenses related to its recovery will be charged.

CONTRACT EXTENSION:

- The tenant must notify and visit the rental office before the end of the period specified in the contract if they wish to extend the rental.

- The minimum extension period is 1 day, and it can be extended according to the conditions of the contract and the rented vehicle.

- The initial contract price cannot be used for an extension.

- If the tenant wishes to extend the rental beyond the agreed period, they must obtain express authorization from the landlord and pay the additional amount corresponding to the current rate.

- The landlord reserves the right to deny the extension request for operational reasons.

- The use of the vehicle after the end of the rental period or its extension will be considered unauthorized use, and a report for misappropriation will be filed.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF THE VEHICLE:

- The tenant must use the vehicle with diligence and care, respecting traffic regulations and avoiding situations that may cause damage to the vehicle or third parties.

- It is not allowed to allow unauthorized people to drive the vehicle.

- The tenant will be responsible for any damage or harm caused to the vehicle or third parties as a result of unauthorized use.

- In case of unauthorized use, the tenant must pay all expenses related to the damages, which will be charged to their credit card.

- The tenant's signature on the contract will be considered as acceptance of the general and specific conditions specified in the contract.

- Unauthorized use includes, among others, participating in competitions, illegal races, driving without a license, lending the vehicle to third parties, among others.

IN CASE OF ACCIDENT, CRIMINAL ACT, OR VANDALISM AGAINST THE VEHICLE

- The tenant must immediately report any accident, criminal act, or vandalism against the vehicle to the police.

- They must complete an accident report, indicating the relevant data and describing the incident concisely and accurately.

- They must not prejudge or acknowledge any responsibility for the accident.

- They must not abandon the vehicle without taking the necessary measures to protect it and must immediately inform the landlord of the incident.

- The landlord is not obliged to offer the tenant another rental vehicle.

- The landlord may offer a new vehicle in case of accident, criminal act, or vandalism, under the current conditions at that time. In addition, a processing fee will be charged for each accident report.

CLIENT

You represent that you are of age and have the legal capacity to acquire the services offered through this website. When booking, you are solely responsible for the accuracy of any data notes. If it is found to be incorrect, could cause the cancellation of the reservation.

RESERVATIONS

To guarantee the reservation you should pay a deposit by credit card, online through a secure server of the bank concerned and will be the last step in making the reservation, is considered firm unless it is carried out such payment. This transaction will be made in euros and the price quoted in the page inc VAT.

The remaining payment should be made at the beginning of the service, otherwise the reservation will be canceled. You will receive details of your reservation by e-mail with all the details of it.

If you make a reservation and for some reason the price shown was wrong, the reservation is not valid. We will inform you of the error as soon as possible and given the option of paying the correct price or receive a full refund of money already paid.

Completion of the booking process is not a contract of hire vehicles, to be formalized must be signed by the customer and the rental company upon arrival at the place of collection of the vehicle.

The rental company reserves the right to refuse signing the lease to those who do not meet the conditions.

TERMS OF CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

No refunds are made for any amount paid online.

GENERAL

These general conditions constitute a contract to reserve a rental car through the website www.autosciutadella.com, Car ownership society Ciutadella SL, established in Negrete 49, BIS, 07760 Ciutadella de Menorca (Baleares) and CIF B07562549. The processing of a reservation through this web site constitutes explicit acceptance of each and every one of these general conditions, which are complemented by Spanish law, general and specific users and consumers.

PRIVACY

According to Law 15/1999 on Protection of Personal Data (Act), we inform you that the personal information you provide through this website will be included in a database registered with the Spanish Data Protection Agency Data for the sole purpose of processing bookings. The database is the responsibility of society ClickMenorca SLNE CIF: B65100299.

You are entitled to access your personal information collected on this file, modify it if erroneous or cancel and object to their treatment, by any of the following two methods:
